We are deeply grateful to Han Keum-Dong for entrusting us with Leonardo—affectionately known as Leo—the first Neo Fabulous Chihuahua imported into New Zealand. His arrival marked an important development for AmigoReal, and we remain proud to carry the work of his breeder forward within our programme.

Leonardo’s pedigree reflects generations of exceptional breeding and achievement. His sire, Showry—Neo Fabulous Super Rich—is an International Champion and a Champion of America, China, Korea and Thailand.

His dam, Keum-Ja—Neo Fabulous Be My Valentine—is an American and Korean Champion. Her achievements include Puppy in Show at both All Breeds and Specialty level, Best of Breed from an entry of 124 at the 2016 European Dog Show, Best of Winners from an entry of 298 at the 2016 Chihuahua Club of America National Specialty, and Select Bitch at Westminster in both 2017 and 2018.

Leonardo began his own show career by winning Best of Breed over already-titled champions at his first show in South Korea. He went on to achieve his Korean Champion title before joining us in New Zealand, where he also became a New Zealand Champion.

Neo Fabulous has achieved recognition at the highest levels of the breed internationally, including producing the Long Coat Chihuahua Best of Breed winner at Westminster in 2019. We are honoured that Leonardo became the first representative of this respected kennel to make New Zealand his home.
